Oxford signs MOU with Madagascar
The University of Oxford signed an MOU with the Musée d’Art et d’Archéologie in Antananarivo, Madagascar in September. The MOU is part of a new joint Sealinks – Museum initiative that will see new archaeological and palaeoenvironmental research undertaken in northern Madagascar starting in 2013. The collaboration will aim to explore Madagascar’s early maritime links, and will involve researchers from the Musée d’Art et d’Archéologie, University of Oxford, University of Michigan, the University of Bristol, and Australian National University. The MOU was signed by Dr. Chantal Radimilahy on behalf of the Musée and by Dr. Nicole Boivin on behalf of the University of Oxford.
